Job description

• The candidate will be required to operate farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate will be required to maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate will be required to feed animals.
• The candidate will be required to tend to animals.
• The candidate will be required to clean stables and barns.
• The candidate will be required to clean barnyards and pens.
• The candidate will be required to  milk cows.
• The candidate will be required to detect disease and health problems in crops.
• The candidate will be required to detect disease and health problems livestock and poultry.
• The Work Site Environment is noisy with a lot of odors.
• The work location is a rural area.

Requirements

• The candidate does not require any degree, certificate or diploma for this job.
• The candidate’s experience in the considered field will be given preference.
• The candidate should have equipment and machinery experience.
• The candidate should have the ability to pay attention to detail.
• The candidate should have very good hand-eye co-ordination.
• The candidate should have the ability to distinguish between colors.
• The work will involve a combination of sitting, standing and walking which the candidate should be comfortable with.
• The work will be physically demanding and hence the candidate should be comfortable with it.
• The work will involve a combination of bending, crouching and kneeling which the candidate should be comfortable with.
• The candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and hence should be comfortable with it.
• The candidate should be able to handle heavy load.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate should have flexibility.
• The candidate should be a team player.
• The candidate should have clarity of judgement.
• The candidate should have organized temperament.
• The candidate should be comfortable with repetitive tasks.
• Should know English or French
